Same-Game Parlay (SGP) Bets Explained

A parlay where all legs come from one single game; combining the spread, total, and player props from the same matchup. Hard Rock Bet supports SGPs on every major sport.

How It Works

  • You build a parlay using legs from one game only
  • Legs are correlated (e.g., if the over hits, top scorers are likely to score more) so the book reprices the parlay
  • Standard parlay multiplication does NOT apply; the book recalculates odds based on correlation
  • Most popular construction: game spread + game total + 2-3 player props

Florida Example

Dolphins-Bills SGP

Tua Tagovailoa over 275.5 pass yards + Tyreek Hill anytime TD + Dolphins +3.5 + game total over 50.5. Hard Rock Bet might price this 4-leg SGP at +650 (vs. a regular 4-leg parlay of the same legs at +1500). You collect a smaller payout but with correlated outcomes.

Pros

  • Built around one game you're watching
  • Correlated legs make it more realistic than random parlays
  • Available on every major sport

Cons

  • Sportsbook hold is even higher than regular parlays
  • Correlation pricing means the payout isn't as eye-popping as the legs suggest

Best For

  • Primetime games you're actively watching
  • Combining a player you like with a game-flow opinion
